SERVICES

SAFARI SINCLAIR is a TRADING STYLE of RACHEL SINCLAIR PHOTOGRAPHY LTD

Booking Terms & Conditions

All workshops that are based around wild animals will be conducted in a safe manner for yourself and the wildlife. We can not guarantee sightings or photo opportunities. Even though we will try our very best, we can not accept any responsibility for the wildlife and the unpredictable nature of wildlife photography. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone any workshop if we feel it will be a danger to you or the wildlife.

 

Safari Sinclair has relevant insurances to operate safely in the UK however we will not be held responsible for any personal injury or accident, loss or damage to personal items including camera equipment or your behaviour. You attend these workshops at your own risk. We highly recommend you have adequate travel, personal and equipment insurance for the duration of your workshop.

 

Payment
A booking is made once the online booking form and full payment have been received from you. We will confirm your booking via email along with any relevant information you will need for the workshop.

All workshops are non-refundable but it is sometimes possible to reschedule if we are given enough notice.

In the event of a cancellation, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum shown below. 

Cancellation notice received prior to 30 days before the workshop - no fee

Cancellation notice received less than 30 days before the workshop  – 50% cancellation charge (50% of workshop price) if it is not possible to fill your place. 
Cancellation notice received less than 72 hours before the workshop
  – 100% cancellation charge (100% of workshop price).

If your circumstances are out of your control please contact us as soon as possible so we can try and arrange something fair and suitable. The above does not apply if you have Covid-19 symptoms or are self-isolating. Please do not attend the workshop but let us know as soon as possible so we can book you on to the next available workshop free of charge!
 

Cancellation by Safari Sinclair
Workshops will not be cancelled due to poor weather conditions unless we feel it would severely affect your workshop experience or the safety of yourself or wildlife.

If we have to cancel/postpone a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or for reasons out of our control we will refund you in full if you can not make the suggested alternative date. We accept liability up to but not exceeding the amount you have already paid us.

Safari Sinclair reserve the right to change the itinerary of any workshop due to circumstances beyond our control. Any significant changes will be emailed to you as soon as possible and we accept no further liability.

Your Behaviour, Health & Safety
Attendees must be 16 years or older unless accompanied by a full paying adult/guardian.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted on any of our workshops. If you must smoke, please do so away from the wildlife and/or hides and fauna.
Please take all your litter home with you (including cigarette butts).
If we feel that your behaviour is negatively impacting our safety, that of other participants or the wildlife we have the right to ask you to leave the workshop and no monies will be refunded to you 

 

Some of our workshops are conducted in rural areas with natural hazards. When booking you agree that you are responsible for your own health and safety at all times and understand that there are risks and potential hazards when photographing in the wild which we will not be held liable for.
Rachel Sinclair is not medically trained and medical facilities may be limited in the wild. You are responsible for ensuring that you are of reasonable health and fitness to attend the workshop and that you have access to any medication needed. Please ask us for advice on this matter before booking if you have any concerns.

We ask all participants to arrive at the meeting location on time. Please set off early and allow plenty of time for such events as traffic and other unforeseen travel circumstance. Workshops will start on time and it may not be possible to wait for you.

Responsabilities and Liabilities

Safari Sinclair will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings including your camera equipment. At all times you are responsible for your health, safety and belongings. It is your responsibility to wear suitable clothing, bring suitable camera equipment and act in a safe and respectful manner at all times.

​

Safari Sinclair will not accept responsibility for your lack of punctuality, fitness, accidents, injury, illness, carelessness or negligence and we will not accept responsibility for death, bodily injury or illness unless this arises from a direct act of negligence by us.

Complaints
If you have a complaint please email it to rachel@rachelsinclair.co.uk within 14 days of your workshop.
