Photographing Wildlife Is My Absolute Passion!

I’ve been teaching photography to people from all walks of life for over 10 years, leading groups and personalised 1:1's both in the UK and internationally. I've successfully helped complete novices right through to professional photographers wanting to improve their skills in nature and wildlife photography.

I know what it's like to go on a workshop and feel completely out of place! When I started my photographic career, everyone was older than me and had much better kit! - Even though most of them didn't actually know how to use it! I've spent thousands on workshops and seminars only to walk away feeling like I haven't personally learnt anything new and that there were too many people so I didn't get the help & attention I needed to improve my images and build my confidence!

I pride myself on being different. My safaris are not an excuse for me to tell you how great my photos are. My safaris are all about YOU! How I can help YOU get the images you dream of, no matter what kit you have. I understand the importance of being patient and I have the ability to easily explain and help YOU become competent in the skills and techniques you need to get that perfect, once in a lifetime wildlife image, worthy of hanging on your living-room wall!

I'm the highest google rated photography tutor in Sheffield and I'm a member of the Society of International Nature & Wildlife Photographers.

Nelson Ole Reiya
- Owner of Oldarpoi Mara Camp & Nashulai Mara Conservancy
- Safari Guide
- Travel & Tourism Lecturer
Kenya

Nelson and his wife Maggie work tirelessly for wildlife conservation.
Both born and raised Maasai, they have built an incredible social enterprise, bringing together the local community. Oldarpoi (our chosen Maasai Mara camp) employs local people and 40% of the profits made by the tourists go back into the community to build schools, teaching hospitals and raising awareness for the end of female genital mutilation.

Nelson, over a number of years, has successfully convinced other Maasai leaders to combine their land together, resulting in the birth of Nashulai, a vital corridor conservancy on the edge of the Mara triangle.

Thanks to Nelson's vision we can now benefit from seeing the wildlife have more land which is so important and beneficial for everyone.
